Friday marked the end of our 2025/26 campaign, and a chance to celebrate a season with a cup final, 23 games, 34 lads pulling the shirt on, and a real buzz around the club.

Ellis Melia picked up Managers' Player after a brilliant season. 17 games, 5 goal contributions, a MOTM, and exactly the attitude every club needs: turns up, does the job, plays where he's asked, and puts the team first.

Luke Openshaw was our Young Player of the Year. 7 games, 5 goal contributions and a MOTM, all while travelling back from university to play. That commitment says everything.

Tom Blacksell took the Golden Boot after finishing top scorer, with 10 goals and 15 goal contributions in 16 games. The highlight: that 40-yarder away at Tideswell.

Tommy and Christian Barnett were also voted Players' Player. Not just for ability, but for their impact around the group. Barnett didn't miss a game, led from the front as captain, and picked up the most MOTMs. Both proper leaders who give everything for the club on and off the pitch.

And finally, George von Schreiber and Josh Chapell shared the Wooden Spoon for missing penalties in the cup final shootout. Brutal, but that's football. In all seriousness, both have been massive for the club this season: key players, top lads, and proper clubmen. You don't get the stick unless everyone knows how much you matter.
